SAINT JOSEPH ACADEMY ANNOUNCES NEW LEADERSHIP FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS CLEVELAND:

081908: Saint Joseph Academy is proud to announce that Jim Folk, Vice President of Ballpark Operations for the Cleveland Indians, will serve as Chairperson for Saint Joseph Academy Board of Directors for a two-year term beginning with the 2008-2009 school year. “Jim’s tremendous organizational experience and leadership skills make him the ideal person for this position,” remarked Mary Ann Corrigan Davis, President of the Academy.

Mr. Folk was raised in the Chicago area and came to Cleveland when he was named Vice President of Ballpark operations for the Cleveland Indians in 1994. He currently oversees Progressive Field operations as well as construction of the Cleveland Indians new spring training facility in Goodyear, Arizona. Jim and his wife Susan have been active throughout the Academy community. They have two daughters currently attending Saint Joseph Academy, senior Kelly and sophomore Erin. Jim and his family live in Westlake, Ohio.

Founded in 1890, Saint Joseph Academy is the only Catholic high school for girls in the city of Cleveland. A Saint Joseph Academy educational experience offers young women an awakening to faith, mind and the world while reflecting and celebrating God, community and oneself. Ninety-five percent of the Class of 2008 are attending college and have received $7.9 million in merit-based scholarships.
