Students Win Parker Hannifin Foundation College Scholarships

"To me receiving this scholarship presents an incredible opportunity as I take the next steps in pursuing my passions in biology and engineering." Veronica shared. "This scholarship will not only help me to afford the university that I decide to attend, but in addition to the scholarship there is an internship with Parker Hannifin. Being able to attend this internship and experience what a career in engineering would look like in the real world is an invaluable experience."

 

The scholarships are for $1,500 and both Kalina and Veronica are invited to be considered for a paid summer internship with Parker Hannifin after completing their first year of college. 

 

"It means so much to me to receive this scholarship," Kalina shared. "This scholarship has taken me one step closer towards affording my dream school, Lawrence Technology University, and I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity."

 

This is the tenth year the Parker Hannifin Foundation has awarded a Saint Joseph Academy student pursuing a career in engineering, engineering technology or computer science with a scholarship. Kalina intends to study Mechanical Engineering and Veronica plans to study Biomedical Engineering.
