Brooke Berkowitz '25

Accomplishments: Brooke serves as a member of the Generation G Youth Board for GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland. This is Brooke’s second year on the board, and she has been volunteering with GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland for almost five years.
GiGi’s Playhouse mission is “to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance for all.”
 
“I love volunteering at GiGi's because of the amazing community,” Brooke shared. “Every time I go to a program, I get to see old friends, but also form new friendships with the participants. It's such a joyful environment in the Playhouse, and everyone is always so excited to be there." 
 
Activities and Interests: At Saint Joseph Academy, Brooke is a member of the Senior Leadership team, the Health Sciences Honors Program, National Honor Society, Mental Health Matters Club and the Varsity Soccer team. Brooke has also been a volunteer at Youth Challenge for four years and Girls on the Run for one year. 
 
What is your favorite part about being a member of the Saint Joseph Academy community?: Brooke shared the following, “My favorite part of being a member of the Saint Joseph Academy community is that all the teachers are really supportive and always willing to help whenever you need.” 
 
Future Career Interests: Brooke intends to major in biology with a focus in Pre-Medicine.
