Accomplishments: Gabby was a student leader for the Class of 2027 retreat. In addition to being a student leader, Gabby was also one of two students panelists for the Personal Integrity discussion.
“It meant a lot to be part of the retreat,” Gabby shared. “It was fun for me to participate in some of the discussions and activities. I also loved hearing from my other classmates.”
Gabby shared the following reflection on being a student leader: “Getting to know yourself and understand your gifts can be a struggle, and being able to assist the sophomore class in finding themselves a little better was awesome. It was also very enlightening to hear about how other people I don’t interact with as much view themselves and practice their own personal integrity.”
Activities and Interests: At Saint Joseph Academy, Gabby is a member of all the band ensembles: Concert Band, Jazz Band and Orchestra, a member of the Concert Choir and will be Vincent Greenleaf in the upcoming spring play, The Girls of the Garden Club. Gabby also played electric bass in the fall musical, Mamma Mia.
What is your favorite part about being a member of the Saint Joseph Academy community?: “My favorite part about being a member of this community is this community,” Gabby shared. “...everytime we come together as a school there is always a sort of energy that can’t be ignored. I find that even in the halls there still seems to be a way for that to be true, and I love how connected that makes me feel to everyone.”
Future Career Interests: Gabby is planning to major in music education.
