Grace Harris '25
Accomplishments: Grace was one of several Saint Joseph Academy students who participated in the Academy’s Dominican Republic Service Trip.
“I decided to participate on this trip because of my love for service and serving others,” Grace shared. “I have always wanted to go on a service trip sometime throughout high school, and I thought this would be a perfect opportunity for that.”
During the service trip, Grace had the opportunity to paint a house being prepared for a family. “The feeling of accomplishment after painting was very rewarding and a feeling I will never forget.” Grace shared. “I am so incredibly grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity that I will forever cherish.”
Grace is also a member of the Health Sciences Honors Program. “I really enjoy being a part of the Health Science Honors Program because I can learn about all of the different kinds of healthcare jobs out there,” Grace shared. “Being in this program has made me want to work in healthcare even more than before I joined it!”
Activities and Interests: In addition to being a member of the Health Sciences Honors Program, at Saint Joseph Academy, Grace is an Academy Ambassador and a member of National Honor Society, Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track teams. Grace was a member of the Cross Country team that placed 9th at the State Meet last school year.
What is your favorite part about being a member of the Saint Joseph Academy community?: Grace shared the following, “My favorite part of SJA is the overall welcoming community I am a part of every single day. I remember my first day of school here freshman year and immediately felt so welcomed and wanted here. This really made me really excited to spend the next four years here and all of the wonderful opportunities SJA has to offer.”
Future Career Plans: Grace plans to major in Health Science in college.
