Juniors Grow in Their Faith at Kairos Retreat

On October 17-19, 28 Juniors, 6 Senior leaders and 5 faculty and staff participated in Kairos 56.
Loosely based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Kairos retreats allow students time and space away from distractions to focus on their faith. Through witnesses by student and adult team leaders, reconciliation, small group discussions, large group sharing, and various activities that complement the theme of each day, students reflected on the many ways we experience the love of God.

Mary Dial ’26 shared the following about this year’s Kairos Retreat: “I chose to attend Kairos because I had heard so many good things about it and was excited to experience it for myself. I learned so much during this retreat about God and myself and how I can see my faith and grow in it with others. I loved breaking into small groups, playing the games, and even hearing the parent/guardian letters being read out loud. I came back feeling refreshed and closer to God and myself. This was an amazing opportunity, and I am so glad I went on it.”
