Community Celebrates Farewell Mass and Alumnae Induction for the Class of 2024

On Thursday, the entire community came together to celebrate the final Mass of the school year with the Class of 2024.
This Mass celebrated the Class of 2024's transition from being a Saint Joseph Academy student to joining the alumnae community. Alumnae mothers of graduates were invited to attend and took part in the Offertory Procession.

Brianna Almasy, Kaitlyn Schmidt, Rachel Kish, Eden Vincent, Meghan Walcheck and Mary Zajaczkowski served as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

Alumnae Director Ms. Hannah Hill ’16 commissioned the Class of 2024 as they lit the Alumnae Candle and recited the Alumnae Pledge. Each Senior was then presented with a St. Joseph Medal by an alumnae member of the faculty or staff. The medals, designed by Sr. Mary Southard, CSJ, feature Joseph on the Journey and is unique to Saint Joseph Academy alumnae.

Mass closed with the Seniors singing “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” before Vice President of Mission Dr. Jessica Wrobleski concluded with a commissioning of all students participating in Summer Service Trips.
