National French Week Highlights Understanding of French Culture
In November, students in French II and Honors French III classes celebrated National French Week by discovering and presenting the cultural diversity of francophone countries throughout the world.
They wrote appreciation notes in French for their friends, teachers and parents/guardians, and expressed thoughtfully interpretations of the 1956 Cannes Film Festival Winner The Red Balloon.
The French Club offered a special wellness activity, open to all students, on two consecutive days during the week that combined a French themed watch party with making bead bracelets. Thank you French Club officers Katherine Hren ’26, Helen Chavez ’26, Mary Grace Romanchek ’26 and Norah Aboushama ’25 for organizing these special activities.
