Elisabeth DeClerck '25

“I feel amazing that I get to be Donna,” Elisabeth shared. “I can’t even describe the emotions I felt when I found out, and since Mamma Mia is my favorite show, it helped fuel the excitement.” 

 

This is Elisabeth’s first production at the Academy. She has been in a production through the Beck Center for the Arts and took acting, singing and dancing classes there as well. 

 

Elisabeth shared that her favorite part of being in Mamma Mia is the cast. "Everyone on the cast is fantastic, and the energy during rehearsal is always electric,” Elisabeth shared. “I love that everyone puts in their best.” 

 

Activities and Interests: At Saint Joseph Academy, Elisabeth is an Academy Ambassador and a member of Book Club, Environmental Club and National Honor Society. Elisabeth also participated in the Kermit, West Virginia service trip last summer. 

 

What is your favorite part about being a member of the Saint Joseph Academy community?: Elisabeth shared the following, “My favorite part about being a member of Saint Joseph Academy is the accepting and welcoming environment it provides. When I came to SJA, I was a sophomore. When I shadowed, I experienced the welcoming community, the attentiveness of the faculty, and the gorgeous campus. Immediately after, my heart was set on going. I love my friends, and my counselors and teachers care about my well-being and success as a student. I thank God every day for providing me with all these opportunities, and I cannot wait for my future!”

 

Future Career Interests: Elisabeth intends to pursue a major in Political Science with a minor in Business. She would like to be a lawyer.
