Female Leaders Offered Career Advice During Women's Leadership Symposium

On Thursday, March 6, the Academy welcomed female leaders, including many alumnae, from various career paths for the 18th annual Women’s Leadership Symposium. 
Professions represented include attorney, artist, business owner, sous chef, educator, engineer, nurse and more. The symposium began with world record-holder, world champion and Olympic gold and silver medalist swimmer, Ms. Betsy Mitchell, as the keynote speaker.
 
After activity blocks, the Classes of 2027 and 2028 attended two interactive breakout sessions to learn more about possible career paths. Students were able to ask questions about the speaker’s profession and how she came into her role. Seniors attended two breakout sessions on college.
