Faculty/Staff Alumnae Share their Gifts on Class of 2027 Retreat

Alumnae faculty and staff members Becky Goede McNulty ’96 and Molly Powers ’18 joined two students on a panel moderated by Vice President of Mission and Associate of the Sisters of the Congregation of St. Joseph, Dr. Jessica Wrobleski, as part of sophomore class retreat.
Together, they shared their journeys of discovering and embracing their unique gifts, how they have used them to impact their corners of the world and what ultimately called them back to Saint Joseph Academy as educators, mentors and employees.

During the discussion, they spoke to students about the transformative power of vulnerability, the courage it takes to recognize and embrace one’s gifts and the deep responsibility of sharing them with others. They explored the meaning of personal integrity, one of the core characteristics of a Saint Joseph Academy graduate. They reflected on how God’s intention in blessing us with gifts is not for personal gain alone, but so that others may witness, be inspired by, and benefit from them. Through their profound insights, they encouraged sophomores to reflect on their own gifts over their next few years at the Academy, and how they might use them to serve and uplift the world around them.
